Materials

Reinforcements: Fiberglass, carbon fiber, and kevlar.

Binders: The top grade marine epoxies used are strong, impact resistant, and excellent against fatigue.  They are resistant to peeling, cracking, corrosion and chemical degradation.

Core Materials: Marine foam, wood, metal, and composite core materials offer a plethora of options that can be tailored to your specific application.  They decrease the overall part weight while increasing durability and appearance.

Equipment

Vacuum Infusion is an automated process that reduces variability and tightly controls the amount of resin.  This is important because infused parts have less voids to serve as failure points, are stronger and lighter.

Vacuum Bagging seals a composites part after the reinforcement has been wet out with the binder.  The vacuum compresses the part, reducing the overall weight and presence of voids.

Hand Layup requires extensive worker skill but is a useful technique during the fabrication of composite small parts and repair or modification of boats.
